@mgibbs02, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand your HP DeskJet 2752e All-in-One Printer is showing “16 documents ready to print” but is not actually printing. Let's work through this step-by-step to clear the print queue and get your printer working again.

Clear the Print Queue

Sometimes, print jobs get stuck and block the queue.

  • On your Windows PC:
    1. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
    2. Scroll down and find Print Spooler.
    3. Right-click it and select Stop.
    4. Open File Explorer and go to:
      C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
    5. Delete all files in this folder.
    6. Go back to services.msc, right-click Print Spooler, and click Start.

Restart Printer and Computer

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from power for 60 seconds.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check Printer Status

  • Make sure the printer is online and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  • On Windows:
    • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
    • Right-click your printer > See what’s printing.
    • Click Printer in the menu and ensure Use Printer Offline is unchecked.

Use HP Smart App’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

  • Download or open the HP Smart app.
  • Go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Visit the official HP support page for your printer: Official HP® Support
  • Download and install the latest drivers for your operating system.

Reset the Printer

If the issue persists, reset the printer to factory defaults:

  • Press and hold the Cancel and Wireless buttons together for 5 seconds until the power light blinks.
