My HP Laserjet Pro MFP M281 says it is in ready state, but computer keeps telling me it is offline

How are you connecting? USB, wired ethernet or wireless?

I'm connecting wirelessly. Printer has been working, but I have had this problem off and on, and now I can't get it to work at all. I uninstalled the printer and tried to reinstall it. It asked me for the IP address, so I got that off the display of the printer under my network settings but it wouldn't work. Then it was asking me for the host name, but I couldn't find that anywhere.
