Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Connecting your HP printer to a network is straightforward.
Here’s how you can do it:
1. Use the HP Smart App
- Download the HP Smart App from 123.hp.com or your app store.
- Open the app and select Set Up a New Printer.
- Follow the guided steps to connect your printer to the Wi-Fi network.
2. Wireless Setup Wizard
- If your printer has a touchscreen, use the Wireless Setup Wizard:
- Open the Setup, Network, or Wireless Settings menu on the printer.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the prompts to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
3. WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
- If your router supports WPS:
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- On the printer, go to Wireless Settings and select Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
- Choose Push Button and follow the instructions.
4. Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode
- If the printer is not found during setup, restore Wi-Fi setup mode:
- For printers with a touchscreen: Open the Wireless or Setup menu, select Network Setup, and then choose Restore Network Settings.
- For printers without a touchscreen: Follow the button press instructions in the printer manual.
5. Connect via USB
- If Wi-Fi is unavailable, you can connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable and set up the network connection through the HP Smart App.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
