Printer shows error with new cartridges

HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3636 All-in-One Printer

Hi All,


I recently bought the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3636 All-in-One Printer for home use and after the first run of the cartridges, ordered a pair of 680 (black &tricolor) from the HP online store. But upon inserting the new cartridge, I keep getting the error and nothing happens. Tried all the steps given in this link but didn't work. Confirmed on the firmware upgrade and everything is up to date. Tried the cleaning options suggested by the virtual agent but to no avail.


Can you please help?
