HP ENVY Inspire 7220e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For a few weeks now, the display on my printer HP7200E shows a problem with the HP account and announces that soon no printing will be possible. Logged in in the HP account there is no indication of a problem. The printer is registered and a contract for sending the cartridges is upright. What is the problem and how can I solve it?

@Alfsu, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP7200E printer is showing a problem with your HP account and announces that printing will soon be disabled, but there are no indications of an issue within your HP account dashboard, follow these troubleshooting steps:

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure your printer is properly connected to the internet. This will allow the printer to communicate with HP services effectively.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary networking or communication issues.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure that your printer firmware is up to date. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause connection issues. You can update your printer firmware via the printer’s control panel or through the HP Smart App.

Re-log into HP Account on Printer:

  • Log out of your HP account on the printer and then log back in. This can refresh the connection between your printer and your HP account.

Check HP Account Status Online:

  • Double-check the status of your HP account online, including the subscription status and payment details. Ensure there are no pending issues such as a failed payment, that might affect the service.

Enable Web Services:

  • Make sure web services are enabled on your printer. This is crucial for ePrint and Instant Ink services to function correctly. You can enable these via the printer’s control panel in the settings menu.

Check Printer Registration:

  • Confirm that your printer is registered correctly in your HP account. Sometimes re-registering the device can resolve account linking issues.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
