HP Recommended

I have a printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus. It was working a few months ago and I bought new ink for it etc. Now it is saying 
"There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. if problem persists, contact HP." I have tried that several times and nothing has improved. I also cannot find a customer support number anywhere.
