Hi @Kamaliverse,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP printer may be having trouble with its connection to your laptop after changing the ink. Here's a step-by-step troubleshooting guide to resolve the issue.

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure that the printer is turned on and there are no errors (like the flashing "A" light) or issues with the ink alignment. If the alignment is required, follow the instructions to complete it.

Reset Printer Connection:

  • Turn the printer off, wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • If your printer is connected via WiFi, you may want to reconnect it to your network. You can usually do this via the printer's settings menu.

Check Printer Connection on Laptop:

  • On Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners. Make sure your printer is listed and set as the default printer. If it's not showing, click Add a printer or scanner to find and add it.
  • On Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and ensure your printer is listed. If not, click the "+" icon to add it again.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Sometimes, reinstalling the printer drivers can fix connection issues. You can download the latest drivers from HP's website for your specific printer model.
  • After downloading, run the installation and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Check for Software Conflicts:

  • Disable any VPN or firewall settings temporarily to ensure they are not blocking the printer's connection.

Run Printer Troubleshooter (For Windows):

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Printer, and run the troubleshooter to check for and fix any issues.

Test the Printer:

  • Try printing a test page directly from your laptop to see if the issue persists.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
