Product: Hp Envy 6032

Hello, I just opened my brand new printer (hp envy 6032) i loaded the paper and straight away I got a message saying tray open. The tray is closed, there is no paper jam, any recommendations?

@Ellie36, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Check for any jams inside the printer and make sure the printer carriage is moving freely.

Refer to - A 'Paper Jam' Error Displays

 

For info on first-time setup, refer to this document.

 

Make sure the papers are correctly loaded in the input tray - Loading Paper, Cards, Envelopes
