I cannot get my printer to print. It says it's connected, says it's ready to print, goes through the motion of putting a job in que, but nothing prints.

Hi @Olympia48, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your HP printer. Let's try a few steps to get it working again:

Check Printer Status: Ensure your printer is turned on and connected to your computer or network properly. Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can help.

Clear Print Queue: Sometimes, print jobs can get stuck in the queue. To clear the queue:

  • On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your HP printer and select See what's printing.
  • In the print queue window, click Printer > Cancel All Documents.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: This is a free tool from HP that can diagnose and fix many printing and scanning issues. You can download it here.

Update Drivers: Ensure your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Support website.

Check for Paper Jams: Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer.

Check Ink or Toner Levels: Low ink or toner can sometimes cause printing issues. Check and replace if necessary.
