Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the code 62.80.15!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The event code 62.80.15 on the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e usually indicates a firmware-related issue or a problem with the printer's internal hardware. Try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Power Cycle the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cable from both the printer and the wall outlet.
  3. Wait for at least 3 minutes to discharge any residual power.
  4. Reconnect the power cable directly to a wall outlet (avoid using a surge protector).
  5. Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.

Update Printer Firmware

  1. Go to HP's Support Website: HP Software & Drivers
  2. Enter your printer model (OfficeJet Pro 8025e).
  3. Download and install the latest firmware update.
  4. Restart the printer after updating.

Reset the Printer

  1. On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore.
  2. Choose Restore Factory Defaults and confirm.
  3. Set up the printer again.

Check for Paper Jams & Hardware Issues

  1. Open the front and rear access doors and remove any jammed paper.
  2. Check the ink cartridges and printhead alignment.
  3. Ensure that the printer is not overheating.
