HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g

HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 printer. have had the printer for several years and never had an issue until now.  When using my work laptop, I'm either getting printer off line msg, which clearly its not, or its trying to print and could take hours to actually print document.  I've shut off the printer/turned back on that sometimes helps but then the same issue again. If I use my personal laptop, no issues, jobs print fine.  I've removed/reinstalled printer and that helps but then same problem comes back.  I've come off the VPN but that doesn't seem to be the issue as the problem happens whether I'm on VPN or not.  I sure hope someone has some suggestions for me!

Hi @DonnaPrinter1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that you are facing issues with printing from your work laptop.

What is the OS that is installed on your work laptop?

Are you connecting the printer to a 2.4Ghz network or 5Ghz network?

Is it a private a public Wi-Fi connection? Wi-Fi direct? Or Hotspot?

Try and update the drivers and firmware if available on your work laptop using the current OS installed on it.

Try re-adding the printer and see if that works.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
