My hp2700e will not print. It doesn't even try. It will copy, but that is all it does. There is fresh ink and a loaded paper tray. It is plugged into my laptop. Up until Friday, it worked great.

Hi @Ullsc ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet 2700e All-in-One series Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
When a printer suddenly stops printing, there could be several potential reasons for the issue.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem:
- Check Printer Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your laptop. Sometimes, a loose or unplugged cable can cause printing issues.
- Restart Devices: Turn off both your printer and laptop, then turn them back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
- Printer Queue: Check the print queue on your laptop to see if there are any stuck print jobs. Cancel any pending print jobs and try printing again.
- Printer Driver: Make sure that the printer driver is installed correctly on your laptop. If the driver is corrupted or outdated, it may cause printing problems. You can try reinstalling the printer driver or updating it to the latest version.
- Check for Error Messages: Look for any error messages or warning lights on the printer. This can provide clues about what might be causing the issue.
- Paper Jam: Even if the paper tray is loaded, there could still be a paper jam inside the printer. Open the printer cover and check for any obstructions or jammed paper. Clear any jams and try printing again.
- Ink Levels: Although you mentioned that there is fresh ink, it's still worth checking the ink levels to ensure that they are sufficient for printing.
- Printer Settings: Verify that the printer settings on your laptop are correct. Make sure that the correct printer is selected and that the print settings match your requirements.
- Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the printer's firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility issues and improve performance. Update the firmware on an HP printer
