@Joemay23, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand that your HP printer is not turning on, and you are seeing solid orange lights on the ink indicator. Let’s try a few troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:

Power Reset the Printer:

  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors).
  • Turn the printer back on and check if the issue persists.

Check the Power Source:

  • Try using a different power outlet.
  • If you’re using a power adapter, ensure it is the original HP adapter.

Inspect the Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the ink access door and check if the cartridges are properly installed.
  • Remove and reinsert the cartridges carefully.
  • If you have replacement cartridges, try swapping them to see if the light changes.

Could you please answer these questions:

  1. Has there been any recent power outage or voltage fluctuation before this issue occurred?
  2. Do you see any error messages on the printer’s display or your computer?
  3. Have you tried replacing the ink cartridges, and do you recall when they were last changed?

Let me know the results of these steps so we can continue troubleshooting if needed.

Looking forward to your response!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
