HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer

I had bought black ink for my printer recently, but my printer was printing out blank pages. I called in HP and the worker said that it was because I changed my black ink without changing my colored ink even when I told her numerous of time it was not because of that. She refused to help me until I bought new color ink which I did. Now it still does not print normally: for colored ink it brings blue and for black only it prints nothing. How can I fix this?

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Please try cleaning the printhead and let me know how it goes

  1. From the printer control panel, open the Setup  menu.

  2. Open the Printer Maintenance menu.

  3. If necessary, open the Tools menu, and then touch Clean Printhead.

    A test page prints.

Example of the printhead cleaning test page

  4. Examine the test page.

    • If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. If necessary, repeat these steps for the third cleaning cycle.

NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform all three levels of cleaning again.

Hi,

This did not work. Now both color and black print gives out blank pages meanwhile have full ink. Are there anything else I can do?

If the issue persists after performing the Steps in this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05076934, then it would be a Hardware issue with the printhead
