Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Let's go through a few steps to get your HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer scanning and printing properly.

Printing Issues

  1. Check Connections: Ensure the printer is connected to your computer or network (WiFi or Ethernet) properly.
  2. Restart Printer: Turn off your printer, wait for a minute, and then turn it back on.
  3. Update Drivers:
    • Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your HP ENVY 6055.
    • Install the drivers and restart your computer if prompted.
  4. Check Print Queue:
    • Open the print queue and ensure there are no stuck print jobs. Clear any pending print jobs.
  5. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:
    • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. This can automatically diagnose and fix many printing and scanning issues.

Scanning Issues

  1. Check Connections: Ensure the printer is properly connected to your computer or network.
  2. Update Scanner Software:
    • Ensure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app or the full-featured software for your printer from the HP Support website.
  3. Restart Devices: Restart your printer and computer.
  4. Use HP Smart App:
    • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
    • Ensure your printer is connected and recognized by the app.
    • Select the scanning option and follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. Check Scanner Settings:
    • Open the scanning software on your computer.
    • Ensure the correct scanner is selected.
    • Adjust any necessary settings, such as resolution and file format.
  6. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:
    • If you haven't already, run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to diagnose and fix any scanning issues.

I hope this helps.
