Hi @Stevekl,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer is displaying a message telling you to "visit a website" when trying to print, it’s likely related to Web Services setup, HP+ activation, or Instant Ink Enrollment.
What You Can Do:
1. Complete Setup via HP Smart App
- Download or open the HP Smart app on your phone or computer.
- Make sure your printer is added and follow any prompts to complete setup or activate services.
2. Check Web Services Connection
- On the printer, go to Settings > Web Services.
- If it says “Enable Web Services” or “Connect to Web Services,” follow the prompts.
- If it’s stuck, reset Web Services:
- Go to Settings > Web Services > Remove Web Services, then re-enable it.
3. Check Internet Connection
- Make sure your printer is connected to Wi-Fi.
- If needed, reset Wi-Fi by pressing and holding the Wireless and Cancel buttons for 5 seconds (on most models).
