HP Recommended
HP Officejet Pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8610 Printer and I am getting a printhead error code. I have gone thorugh all of the recommended fixes, but to no avail. Should I purchase a new printhead or simply purchase a new printer?

@DCD08, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Error Indicates Faulty Printhead, and the error persists, I'm afraid the printhead has gone bad.

I suggest you upgrade the printer as buying a printhead will cost you almost as much as a new printer and it is subject to its availability. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
