Hi @Mb1974,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer has a blinking orange light along with an information orange light and a blue Wi-Fi light, it typically indicates an issue that needs attention. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
Check for Paper Jams:
- Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Remove any stuck paper carefully.
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Make sure the ink cartridges are installed correctly and have enough ink. Remove and reinsert them if necessary.
Printer Connection:
- Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. If the blue Wi-Fi light is blinking, it may indicate that the printer is trying to connect. You can try reconnecting it to your network.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check Printer Status:
- If your printer has a display screen, check for any error messages or prompts that can give more specific information about the issue.
Reset the Printer:
- Some HP printers have a reset option. Consult your printer’s manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check for firmware updates on the HP website that may address any known issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
