HP Officejet Pro 8620

I tried to print today and was halted by an error message that my printer head was missing or not detected. My printer has been working great up until now. I have tried to reseat the printerhead multiple times, replaced the ink cartridges, restarted the printer, and tried updating my printer, all of which were recommended online. I've already contacted the virtual agent but didn't find a solution that worked. Any ideas? Is it time to replace the printerhead?

If you have already performed the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Printhead and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
