Hi @TallTara,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The error code 0xc19a0024 on your HP printer typically indicates a printhead issue, often related to the ink system. This can happen due to:

  • Clogged or misaligned printhead
  • Faulty ink cartridges
  • Firmware or software glitches
  • Electrical issues after a power surge

Steps to try:
 1. Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall and the printer.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

This clears temporary memory glitches.

2. Remove and Reinsert Ink Cartridges

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove all cartridges.
  • Reinsert them one by one, ensuring they click into place.
  • Close the door and restart the printer.

3. Clean the Printhead

If your printer has a removable printhead:

  • Remove it carefully.
  • Clean the electrical contacts with a lint-free cloth and distilled water.
  • Let it dry completely before reinserting.

Some HP models also allow automatic printhead cleaning via the printer’s control panel.

4. Update Firmware via HP Smart App

  • Download the HP Smart app from HP’s site.
  • Connect your printer.
  • Go to Settings → Advanced Settings → Printer Updates.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
