I am receiving the general "Printhead Problem" error that reads" Remove all Cartridges. Next, lift black latch and remove Printhead. Then re-install Printhead and Cartridges"

I have followed this process, completely cleaned the printhead in alcohol for over 24 hours, cleaned the metal connector prongs with alcohol, and attempted to re-install and am receiving the same issue.

Should I purchase a new Printhead, if so where do I do so?

What if the issue is the prongs built into the printer vs. that of the Printhead?

Thank you

Hi @Tattini,

If you have already performed the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Printhead and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps!
