I followed the instructions posted by others, unplugging at printer and wall for at least 60 seconds, removing ink cartridges and cleaning them, making sure plugged into wall vs strip.  Still the same message regarding print head.  I also downloaded firmware update but couldn't install due to printer in error status.  I share this printer with a pc and mac.

May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Printhead and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
