@laurienicol, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printhead Errors on HP Printers!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you encounter printhead errors (such as error code 62.80.13) on your HP printer and the printhead is not removable, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Verify Ink Cartridges

  • Check for Leaking Ink Cartridges
    1. Open the ink cartridge access door.
    2. Wait for the carriage to become idle and silent.
    3. Remove the ink cartridges and inspect them for leaking ink.
    4. If any ink cartridges are leaking, replace them.
    5. If no ink cartridges are leaking, reinstall them properly.
    6. Repeat for all ink cartridges and close the cartridge access door.

Step 2: Reset the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer using the power button.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power source.
  3. Wait for about 60 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and back to the printer.
  5. Turn the printer on.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
