Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Error message; printhead appears to be missing, not detected or incorrectly installed.

 

I've unplug the printer, updated firmware and tried to wiggle the print head multiple times.  I am still getting this error message.  Anything else I can try?

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue - Error Indicates Faulty Printhead.

 

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer as it could be a hardware failure. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
