Printhead problem/error in HP Printer 6600

HP Printer 6600 HP All-in-One Printer series

Hi HP community, please help me with my HP 6600 printer problem. When I power on the printer it says “The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed”

I cleaned it, replaced it with new ink cartridges, and restarted/powered off the printer for more than 60 seconds. I also tried to updated the firmwar,e but it said the status was already up to date. How can I fix this problem? PLEASE HELP!

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

 

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Error Indicates Faulty Printhead

 

If the error persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
