Good morning to everyone,

I am struggeling with my new printer.

I had guessed the printjob would be easy but either it is not or I took a wrong turn and am thinking in a wrong direction.

Saw a similiar post on "Need to Print A5" from 2020 but that one didn't help.

 

Lemme explain :

I like to print Hermes or DHL shipping labels.

Creating them online resulting in a PDF file.

That PDF file is designed to be printed on a A4 page.

The top half of the page is the interesting part.

I don't need the data on the bottom half printed.

 

For easier paper handling I think the best would be to put a A5 sheet lengthwise in the single sheet (aka 10 sheet) feed.

For that I'd need to print the top of the A4 and rotate it so it would fit.

 

2nd option would be to put a A5 "landscape" in the single sheet (aka 10 sheet) feed and then print the top half of the A4 PDF.

 

3rd option would be to put a A5 "landscape" sheet on top of the normal A4 pages in the bigger feed and then print the top half of the A4 PDF.

 

Any suggestions or links to this problem already solved in a other thread would be appreciated.
