I have done everything the help pages suggests, and it is still printing blank pages.

Any additional suggestions?

Hi @Sofie11

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If your HP printer is still printing blank pages despite following all help page steps, try running a printhead cleaning cycle, checking ink flow manually, and printing from a different app or file type to isolate the issue.

Thank you for your persistence — I understand how exhausting it is when nothing seems to work. Let’s explore a few deeper steps that might help restore proper ink flow and output:

1. Run Multiple Printhead Cleaning Cycles

Even if you've done this once, a second or third cycle may be needed:

  • Open the HP App on your computer
  • Go to Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead
  • Run the cleaning cycle and print a test page
  • If the page is still blank, repeat the cleaning up to two more times

2. Check Ink Flow and Cartridge Venting

Sometimes ink doesn’t flow due to blocked vents or protective tape:

  • Remove each cartridge and inspect for:
    • Clogged vent holes (small circular openings on top)
    • Residual tape on the copper contacts or ink nozzles
  • Gently clean the copper contacts with a lint-free cloth and distilled water
  • Reinsert cartridges firmly and try printing again

3. Print from a Different App or File Type

To rule out software or file corruption:

  • Try printing a PDF from Adobe Reader, a Word document, and a webpage
  • If one prints correctly, the issue may be with the original file or app

4. Update Firmware

Outdated firmware can affect print behavior:

5. Use HP’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

This tool checks for blank page issues and repairs software conflicts:

If you’d like help navigating the HP App or interpreting the test page results, I can walk you through it. You’ve done a great job so far — let’s keep pushing forward until we get those pages filled with crisp, clear output.
