@SAMTEC1973, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

The error code 0XC4EB8024 HW_MICC12_V12 generally indicates that your HP ENVY Photo 6252 printer is experiencing a hardware problem which might be related to connectivity, paper jams, or cartridge issues.

Here are steps you can follow to try and resolve this issue:

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer doors and carefully inspect for any paper jam.
  • Remove any jammed paper ensuring there are no torn pieces left inside.

Inspect the Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Make sure all cartridges are properly seated. If necessary, remove and reinsert them.
  • Check if there is any visible damage or ink leakage then replace the faulty cartridges.

Run HP Smart:

Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)

  • Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
