I tried to print a couple of pages, tickets for a show actually, but my printer ran out of ink. I had to go out in a hurry, so left it till I got back home. While I was out my printer had ejected about 50 - 60 blank pages. I checked my on-line account on this website, and it showed these blank pages as printed today. I reloaded these 50 - 60 blank pages into the papaer tray, and replaced the empty cartridges, then printed my original 2 pages as normal without any problem.
Why did this happen, and why is my account incorrectly showing these blank pages as printed?

thanks for your reply. I don't actually do much printing so am annoyed when I see multiple page printing against my account. For instance on 15th January approx 25 pages are shown as printed, which is simply untrue. If this keeps on, I'll have no choice but to cancel my HP account, which I would do with reluctance!
