Hi,

 

my printer keeps saying there’s a paper jam but there isn’t. I managed to look on YouTube and fix that but now it is only print half a page. The scanner is working and prints a full page but when I print from my Mac it’s only half??

 

ive only had it a week with new cartridges so it isn’t the ink. 

please help

I understand you are not able to print due to this false error. To assist you better, which version of macOS are you using?

 

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - E4 (Paper Jam) Error

 

Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Note: Copy is different from scanning.

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

 

Try printing.
