Note for common printer problems
Customers receiving the"will damage your computer" message along with others like "unable to access cups/tmp" or "'@%' cannot be opened" need to update their version of the macOS. Printing issues

Officejet 6700 Premium

My printer has stopped linking with my PC and Ipad and gives error code Ox61011bed. I have just scanned some documents on it so not totally broken but does anyone recognise the code and know how to fix? I have tried diagnose and fix, the virtual agent is useless and have uninstalled and installed the software. Tried to phone but the number does not exist apparently.

@AlanBG, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

A 0x error indicates a hardware issue with the printer. Let us try these steps:

 

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

 

Check for any paper jams inside the printer and make sure the print carriage moves freely.

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
