Hi,
is the printer connected to the wireless network?
The printer is only supported on Mac computers with AirPrint, which is only supported on a wireless connection and not through a USB connection.
If it is connected with USB, please unplug it from the printer and then restore Wi-Fi Setup mode for your printer:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_3967769-3956733-16
Now open HP Smart and click the plus sign, then follow the steps on screen to connect the printer to your wireless network and then try printing.
