HP ENVY Photo 7134 All-in-One Printer

Hi

Printer is printing new print jobs on top of old print jobs (it was ok yesterday?).  I have turned off and on again, uninstalled and installed again, and cleared temporary files but this has not solved.

Please help!

Hi @tulip1983,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I can understand how frustrating it must be to have overlapping print jobs, especially after trying multiple fixes. Let’s work through some targeted solutions to get your HP ENVY Photo 7134 back to normal.

  • Are you printing directly from your device or through an app like HP Smart?
  • Does this issue happen with all types of documents (e.g., PDFs, Word documents, photos) or just specific ones?
  • Are you using the latest version of the printer driver or firmware?

Let's try these steps.

Cancel All Pending Print Jobs:

  • Open Devices and Printers or Printers & Scanners on your computer.
  • Select your printer, click Open Queue, and cancel all pending jobs.
  • Restart the printer to ensure the queue is fully cleared.

Check Print Settings:

  • Ensure that Overlay Printing or similar settings are disabled.
  • Go to the print settings in the app you’re printing from, and ensure there are no templates or layers enabled.

Update Printer Firmware and Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support page and download the latest drivers and firmware for your printer.
  • Install the updates and restart both your computer and printer.

Test with a Different Document and Device:

  • Try printing a simple document from another device or app to determine if the issue is device-specific.
  • If the problem doesn’t occur, the issue may be with your original device or app settings.

Reset the Printer to Factory Defaults:

  • On the printer control panel, navigate to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore Factory Defaults.
  • After the reset, reconnect the printer to your network and reinstall the driver if necessary.

If the issue persists, let me know, and we’ll explore further solutions together!

Keep me posted for further assistance
