Hi @Bee04,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is only printing the edges and not the center of the page, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Check Print Settings:

  • Open the document you are trying to print.
  • Go to the print settings (File > Print).
  • Ensure that the page size and margins are set correctly. Make sure the document fits within the printable area of the selected paper size.

Adjust Margins:

  • If your document has large margins, try reducing them. You can adjust margins in the document editor (like Word or Google Docs) before printing.

Printer Driver Update:

  • Ensure your printer driver is up to date. You can check the HP website for the latest drivers for your printer model.

Print a Test Page:

  • If your printer has a physical button, you might be able to print a test page directly from the printer. Check your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Inspect the printer for any obstructions in the paper path that might cause the print head to misalign.

Print Head Alignment:

  • If your printer supports print head alignment but does not have a screen, you may be able to initiate it through the HP Smart app or through the printer settings on your computer.

Check Paper Size and Type:

  • Make sure you are using the correct paper size and type that matches the settings in your print dialogue.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
