HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer

I have problem with margins. everything that gets printed leaves about half an inch of blank space on the lower part, which means the upper part of the image is cut about half an inch as well

Hi @Aisoul,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the print margins on your HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer. Here are a few steps you can take to try and resolve this problem.

  • Check Printer Settings: Make sure that your print settings are correctly configured. Sometimes, the default settings may include margins that are larger than necessary. Look for options such as "Page Setup" or "Margins" in your printer settings and adjust them accordingly.
  • Software Settings: Ensure that the software you're using to print (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat) doesn't have its own margin settings that could be overriding the printer settings. Check the print preview to see if the margins appear correctly there.
  • Paper Size and Type: Verify that you're using the correct paper size and type in both your printer settings and the software you're printing from. Incorrect paper settings can sometimes cause printing issues.
  • Printer Driver Update: Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause printing problems. You can usually download the latest drivers from the HP website or through the HP Smart app.
  • Calibrate Printer: Some printers have a calibration feature that can help adjust print alignment and margins. Refer to your printer's user manual or support documentation to see if this is an option for your model.
  • Hardware Check: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be a hardware problem with your printer.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue with the print margins on your HP ENVY 6055 printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
