missing print head error.

removed the print cartridges clean the print head check the print head housing.

reinstall all and reset the printer a couple of times without succes.

Try these steps:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and wait for about 10 seconds. Plug it back in and turn on the printer.

Check the Print Head Installation:

  • Ensure the print head is installed correctly by fully seating it within the print head cradle. It's important that the latch holding the print head is firmly closed.

Reset the Printer:

  • Sometimes resetting the printer can clear error messages. Turn the printer off, unplug it for 10 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.

Inspect the Print Head for Damage:

  • Examine the print head and cartridges for any physical damage. If you notice damages, it might be necessary to replace the print head.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure the printer's firmware is up-to-date. Check HP's official website for any updates that may address the issue.
