I reviewed the case regarding issues with the printer.
I will be delighted to assist you here.
Follow this link and perform the steps in the given order. Reseat the printhead up to three times is the important one, which is step 10 in that document, but as I said earlier, perform the steps in the given order.

Exact same problem with my 8625. NOTHING worked. My resolution was to go buy a new printer! The salesperson named all the issues that we're experiencing with our HP's and said he no longer recommends them. I purchased a new BROTHER printer. The toners are NOT on the printhead, so that's one less issue to deal with. The toners are in their own compartment and easily accessible so I'm very happy. Wasted way too much time trying to resolve this issue. Don't care if it's a hardly-used printer - I just needed something to work!
