Hp officejet pro 8620

Hi my hp officejet pro 8620 gave me a warning a few days ago it need black ink so I bought it and now its in the printer. Then I turned it off then back off the it keep making a loud noise for the scanner part and says " there is a problem with the printer or ink system.  Turn printer off then on. If problem persists contact hp." There is no error code. I bought the right black ink. The same one that was in there before when I had to problems. I dont understand whats wrong. It won't printer or do anything now.

@Shelby92, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you are not able to print due to this error. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Resolving 'Ink System Failure', 'System Supply Problem' Errors

Check for any paper jams, make sure the printer carriage is moving freely. You may refer to the steps from - Paper Jam Error

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer as it could be a hardware failure.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
