Removed everything again and restarted everything, all seems OK again, so perseverance and patience may be required!!

Hi, I have a HP Envy 6022e. It was showing a jam error 6e, there wasn't a jam but it continued to display this despite removing the power, etc. This now seems to be resolved, but I cannot reconnect the printer to the HP Smart App etc.

I've performed a factory reset via the HP app, but when trying to reinstate it, it's frozen at the stage of "Press and release the flashing 'Information' button on your printer". I've tried numerous times but it times out. 

I've also tried deleting and reinstalling the app on my phone. 

Please can anyone advise how to get round this?
