The translation of my french message :
After changing the Magenta ink cartridge, my printer keeps giving me the following message: "Problem with the printer or the ink system. Turn the printer off and then on again. If the problem persists, contact HP"
I turned off the printer, unplugged the cord, restarted it several times, to no avail.
What can I do?

@JLR69150, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer and Ink System Issues on HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus - N911g!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus is showing a "Problem with the printer or the ink system" error, here are some steps you can follow to resolve the issue:
Check the Ink Cartridges for Leaks:
- Open the door to access the ink cartridges.
- Wait until the carriage stops moving.
- Remove the magenta ink cartridge.
- Inspect the ink cartridge for any leaks. If the cartridge is leaking, replace it with a new one.
- Reinstall the ink cartridge into its slot.
- Close the cartridge access door.
Reset the Printer:
- Press the power button to turn off the printer. If the printer does not turn off, disconnect the power cord.
- Unplug the power cord from the power source.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and to the printer.
- Turn on the printer to complete the reset.
Reseat the Printhead:
- Open the door or lid to the cartridge access area. Wait until the carriage stops moving.
- Look for a latch on the carriage.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord.
- Lift the carriage latch, slightly lift the printhead, lower the printhead back into the carriage, wiggle the printhead left and right, and lower the carriage latch until it stops.
- Close the door or lid to the cartridge access area.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- If the error message still displays, repeat the steps to reseat the printhead up to three times.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
