Hi i have the same error on my HP envy 5020 I have tried the hard reset and it is still not working i have recently bought this cartridge from HP and only printed a few pages and really dont have the funds to just go and buy another one.

Which ink cartridge is indicated in the error?

Insert one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective ink cartridge.

 

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

 

If you have an alternate old, used ink cartridge, check if you still get the same error. By this, we can conclude if this is a defective ink cartridge or an issue with the printer.

 

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options.
