Hi @User_need_help,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code 05F4DE48 on an HP OfficeJet 8134e typically indicates a hardware issue, often related to the print head or internal components of the printer. Here’s a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

1. Perform a Power Cycle

  • Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.:
  • Leave the printer unplugged for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and the printer.
  • Turn the printer on and check if the error persists.

2. Check for Physical Obstructions

  • Open all access doors and check for any paper jams or debris in the paper path.
  • Open the print head access door.
  • Carefully remove and reseat the print head, ensuring it’s properly installed.
  • Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges to ensure they are properly seated.

3. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Open the print head access door and carefully remove the print head and ink cartridges.:
  • Leave the printer unplugged for about 60 seconds.
  • Reinstall the print head and ink cartridges.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

4. Update Firmware

  • Go to the HP Support website and search for your printer model (OfficeJet 8134e).
  • Download and install any available firmware updates.

5. Check for Error Messages

  • Display Panel: If your printer displays additional error messages or codes on the screen, note them down as they can provide more specific details about the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
