If your HP Smart Tank 530 is printing everything in pink, it might indicate an issue with ink levels or printhead functionality. Below are steps to refill the ink tanks and ensure optimal printing quality:

Refill the Ink Tanks

Open the Printer Front Door:

  • Carefully open the front door of your printer to access the ink tanks.

Open the Cap of the Ink Tank:

  • Select the ink tank you want to refill and open its cap.

Open the Ink Bottle:

  • For twist-off caps, remove the cap and set it aside.
  • For flip-top caps, twist the cap to remove it, pull the seal tab to remove the seal, and dispose of it. Replace and tighten the cap, and then flip open the cap.

Refill the Ink Tank:

  • Turn the bottle upside down, place it over the tank spout, and push it down onto the spout.
  • Wait until the ink tank is filled.

Secure the Bottle and Cap:

  • Set the bottle upright and close or replace the ink bottle cap.
  • Close the ink tank cap.

Repeat for Other Tanks:

  • Repeat the procedure for other ink tanks if needed.

Close the Front Door:

  • Make sure to securely close the printer’s front door after refilling.
