Please note, this question was posted once before by another user in mid-2020, but the solution was not visible on the forum.

I have exactly the same issue as the previous post and would like to know how to change the regional settings on my HP 8720 printer from the USA to Mexico.  I have an HP Office Jet Pro 8720 which I purchased in the United States. I now live in Mexico and cannot purchase HP 952 ink.  I bought genuine HP 954 cartridges in Mexico, which are supposed to be compatible with the HP 8720 printer, but the printer is saying they are incompatible.  The printer is no longer in warranty.

Can anyone provide instructions on changing my printer's region to Mexico so that I can use the genuine Mexican HP Ink (954) in my printer?  Thanks.

@BTMOM, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Unfortunately, the codes provided to help reset the region were not acceptable and I received an error message.  I tried five different times.  The third time after turning the printer off and unplugging it, then turning it back on.  The fourth time after connecting through the network instead of USB.  and the final time after removing and reinstalling the ink cartridges then restarting the HP program.  Unless there are a different set of codes, I don't think this solution will help fix my issue.   But thank you, Kumar0307 for all of your help.
