HP Envy 4527
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I keep getting a message to reinstall the ink cartridge and I have done so multiple times. I have also replaced the black cartridge and cleaned the cartridge and printer heads.  It won't let me clean it from the settings on the control panel of the printer, it gives me the reinstall message. I have done a hard reset too, but still get the same message.  Any ideas on what else I can try?

@LJ21,

let's test the printer,

BL = Bottom left of the printer's screen. It is the return arrow symbol.

TL = Top left corner of the printer's screen (Home symbol).

CL = Center left. It could be a return arrow symbol or a dash symbol (depends on the printer model).

TR = Top right of the printer' screen. Mention the symbol (Refer to the user guide for the symbol).

BR = Bottom right of the printer's screen. Mention the symbol(refer to the user guide for the symbol).

Support Menu >Resets Menu>Partial Reset

  1. Press Power button to turn the Printer On.
  2. Press BL, BL, BL, BL Buttons, in sequence.
  3. Touch Support Menu.
  4. Select Reset Menu and Touch OK.
  5. Select Partial Reset and Touch OK.
  6. Wait for unit to Power Down/Turn Off.
  7. Press Power button to turn the Printer On
