Remove and reinstall the ink

We've got an HP envy 5541 and have just started getting this message, to remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridges etc and have seen that this is a common problem. We've tried new cartridges, switching on and of the power, cleaning with a lint free cloth etc to no avail. How can something as simple as changing the cartridges become such a headache?! We've even tried resetting the default factory settings......HELP!

Please update the printer Firmware from this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

 

If the issue persists we can try a Semi Full Reset
