Hello JBlazeOne,

Thank you for posting your concern,

It seems like you are trying to connect your printer to your iPhone's Wi-Fi network and are prompted for a passcode. Typically, the printer itself should not require a passcode unless you are referring to the Wi-Fi password of your network or a connection setup. Here's how you can address this issue:

  1. Verify Wi-Fi Password:

    • Make sure you are entering the correct Wi-Fi password for your network. This is the password set for your Wi-Fi router.
  2. Printer Wi-Fi Setup:

    • Ensure that the printer is in Wi-Fi setup mode. The exact steps can vary based on your printer model. Typically, there’s a setup option on the printer’s control panel.
  3. Use HP Smart App:

    • Download the HP Smart app on your iPhone if your printer is HP. It can guide you through connecting the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
  4. Wi-Fi Direct (if applicable):

    • If connecting via Wi-Fi Direct, ensure that the feature is enabled on your printer, and follow the printer's instructions for using Wi-Fi Direct.
  5. Reset Network Settings:

    • On your printer, there might be an option to reset network settings to default, allowing you to restart the setup process.
  6. Consult Printer Manual:

    • Refer to the printer’s user manual for specific instructions related to your printer model, especially for connecting to Wi-Fi.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, checking the printer's manual or HP's support site for further guidance tailored to your printer model would be effective. If there's specific context regarding the passcode, such as a security feature or network default, additional information from the manual or support might be needed.
