I'm trying to setup my printer for the first time. It would not recognize the magenta ink cartridge and so I could not finish the setup. As per the message, I went and bought a new one (962 xl) and now I'm getting the message that I have to use setup ink cartridges. How do I finish the setup properly? I'm rather frustrated.
To bypass the message on the printer the only option left is to perform an OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
