Hello gorgeous people!

We purchased our HP Smart Tank 7605 in August 2024 from our local tech provider after our old printer / fax shut down. Even while installing the tech provider had problems - and ever since there were days we had to go without funktional print and communication service because the HP decided to just shut off. Last week we had to refill tanks - first time - did it all as shown in the videos. HOWEVER eversince its display is stuck in the buffering mode: "Tanks are being checked" ( In German: „Farbtanks werden überprüft“ )

We tried reinstall, updated the driver, checked if it works with another computer and mac ( due to our dental software demands windows 10..) but that was not the issue - the display is still stuck in the buffering loop.

We can print from the computer and scan things in, also receiving fax works but we can not access the display and send or copy anything that involves operating with the display. The tanks are shown full when accessing the settings in the HP App.

Our service provider has a strict 1-Year guarantee policy. We assumed that this is a device liability for defects issue but they are not being very supportive ( as 20 Year costomer.. not anymore obviously) So since we bought the printer from them and not HP we cant access the care service and the guarantee. We payed 500€ for a item that was defect and need help. Would appreciate any ideas on how to get the display back.
