I can print a colored test document from the printer, but when I print from an app, it reverts to monochrome!
Can anyone advise please

Which app are you using to print?

Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

What model HP printer are you using?

 

You may use HP Smart app to print from your Win 10 PC.

Refer to this document to know how.

Hi, thanks for your support. Since posting my problem, I have spoken with HP support and the very helpful lady sorted my problem by helping me to manually install the printer (Add a Printer in the control panel) which overcame the problem. Apparently, she thought it was a windows update that may have caused the problem. Anyway, she (sorry, cant remember her name but she did give a support reference in case it happens again) was very helpful, especially as my printer was out of warranty. Thank you.
